Local adaptation

I work on methods to detect signals of local adaptation from genomic data and will apply these to a number of data sets. I also use stochastic approaches such as branching processes and diffusion approximation to study the invasion properties of a locally beneficial allele that occurs in linkage to a previously established polymorphism maintained at selection-migration equilibrium. The goal of this work is to enhance our understanding of the genetic architecture of polygenic traits involved in local adaptation.
